2015 will be the year that fans of the hit series, 'Heroes' will get their beloved show back in the form of a 13-episode mini-series entitled, 'Heroes Reborn.'
NBC announced the comeback during coverage of the Olympics on Saturday but the storyline remains unknown. The series is described as a stand-alone story that will introduce and possibly re-introduce characters who discover that they have extraordinary powers.
The original series creator Tim Kring will lead the mini-series in what hopes to be a repeat of the colossal success the show received its first season.
The original series starred Zachary Quinto, Hayden Panettiere, Jack Colman, Ali Larter, Adrian Pasdar, Milo Ventigmiglia and Greg Grunberg.
