While legions of NFL fans descend on the city to celebrate today's big game, fans and athletes gathered to watch an equally important event in NFL history.
The EA Madden Bowl XX.
Electronic Arts celebrated by hosting the tournament and reinforcing the popularity of it annual $4 billion video game franchise. Madden NFL 25 was being bumped on stage via a fleet of Xbox Ones.
Several of the biggest stars in the NFL, including New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver AJ Green, New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and college rising star Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater were all participating in the single elimination tournament.
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy (playing as the Seahawks) was the evening's victor, finally defeating Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton (who chose the San Francisco 49ers) 24-22.
