Silicon Valley has become a de facto go-to stop for major celebrities embarking on publicity tours, and the latest personality to drop in is Lena Dunham. The Girls creator visited the offices of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter while promoting her forthcoming book Not That Kind of Girl, which is slated for a fall release.

Dunham hung out, took pictures, and cracked Lean In-premised jokes with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Re/code editor Kara Swisher, and Instagram co-founder Mike Krieger. Over at Twitter headquarters, she gave a Q&A that impressed Twitter employees so much that one of them presented her with a Valentine's day rose.

having @sherylsandberg ask you to take a picture of her with @lenadunham. Love my desk's location.
met @lenadunham tonight and she is quite wise on the ways of the internets and could easily be a geek hipster #alsoleanoverwasagoodjoke

Thank you, @lenadunham for being hilarious, normal, & leaving your dog in a cab to chat. #UltimateSacrifice pic.twitter.com/VE5pbiZZmc
