A Sign Order Has Been Restored Under de Blasio: Junk Food Returns to City Hall's Vending Machine

Throwback.

In Bill de Blasio's New York City, snacks are once again welcome in City Hall vending machines.

The New York Post reports that a vending machine in the basement is stocked with favorites like Doritos, Kit Kats and M&Ms—things you'd never see if Michael Bloomberg were still mayor. The Post adds that while no one can explain the sudden abundance of sugar, no one is complaining.

"The nanny has left the building, so now if I want Twix bars or Doritos for lunch, I can finally have them without having to leave the building," one excited, yet understandably anonymous employee told the Post

Candy instead of granola bars is one small win for employees—and diabetes.
