If you're not yet excited to see Nicolas Cage in Joe, take this as indication you should be: It looks great. In this new trailer for the film—which is based off of the 1991 novel of the same name by Larry Brown—we see Cage as Joe, an ex-con who meets a 15-year-old boy named Gary (Tye Sheridan) and must then make a choice between redemption, or succumbing to his conman instincts. The film was directed by Pineapple Express director (seriously) David Gordon Green, and it premiered at the 2013 Venice Film Festival.
