The star of The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons, will make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut on March 1 when the show returns from its Winter Olympics hiatus, according to Coming Soon. He will be accompanied by musical guest Beck, who will be making his seventh appearance on the show. Beck’s new album is titled Morning Phase, which will hit stores on February 25.
This episode of SNL will also mark a change in direction as it will be the first with Colin Jost as the Weekend Update anchor. This is the spot that was once filled by Seth Meyers, who left the series on February 1 to prepare for his new job as the host of Late Night with Seth Meyers.
