Season two of House of Cards isn't set to premiere until later this month, but it looks like the series is already a lock for season three—because that's just how this show rolls. According to The Hollywood Reporter, House of Cards has been renewed for a third season ahead of its season two debut, which is set for Valentine's day, February 14th.

Though the show was originally set to be a two-season pick-up, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos has spoken about more seasons for the show in the past: ""I think if you look at the original House of Cards, there was a natural third season, and we could go well beyond that," he said back in November, for instance. Additionally, in October, Sarandos said, "It was not our intent that it just run for two seasons."

Production on season three is set to begin soon.
