Google has implemented a new feature that takes YouTube videos to the top of your music search results. A box will now appear at the top of some search result pages, equipped with a song link, artist, album information and released date. The box is actually a link that'll redirect you to the video on the YouTube site.
For the most part, the songs presented on this new feature are official videos from artist pages, but a few link to unlicensed videos. All songs will send users to a video from YouTube, which will definitely bolster a lot of traffic for Google’s own site.
This comes off the news that YouTube is starting to remove videos that have paid services to increase their views, in other words, "faking" their views.
