Your days of ignoring annoying emails are over.

Streak for Google Chrome, a tool for customer relationship management, has a feature that notifies users when someone has read an email they sent. Once the plug-in is installed, the Gmail user can see your total views of the email, how many unique viewers opened the email, and what time they opened it. Bad news if you're the type to put things off or pretend like you haven't seen an email yet.

Streak is similar to iMessage and Facebook Message read receipts, and BBM notifications.

Even if the recipient of the email doesn't have Streak, users will still be able to track the email—so don't get caught slipping.
