After months of speculation, the cast for the Fantastic Four franchise reboot has been set. The film, slated for June 19, 2015, will star Kate Mara as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan as her brother Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Miles Teller as Reid Richards/Mr. Fantastic, and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm/The Thing.

Sure, the Marvel comic was brought to the screen less than 10 years ago, and like The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, a reboot this soon is baffling. However, the cast just shot up the movie's credibility by 200%. Mara is fresh off a starring role in House of Cards. Miles Teller has been killing it with the critically acclaimed films The Spectacular Now and Whiplash. Michael B. Jordan generated Oscar buzz (though he was robbed of a nomination) with his role in Fruitvale Station. As for Jamie Bell, he's got an unforgettable turn in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac coming up. Not to mention, the film will be directed by Josh Trank, the man behind 2012's exceptional and underrated Chronicle.

Put your worries to rest. The franchise is in excellent hands.
