Shocking footage has emerged of police in Palm Beach County, Fla.shooting a naked man who was seen eating a teenager's face.
On Tuesday night, the man—who police described as "at least 6 feet 3 inches and 250 pounds" and built "like an NFL linebacker"—attacked a 66-year-old former NYPD-officer, then chased a man in his young son near Delray Beach, Fla. He then bit the face of an 18-year-old man, who was forced to stab him with a box cutter to free himself.
Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office failed at subduing the man with a Taser and were forced to open fire. A witness was able to film the encounter, which WPTV aired while noting that the man was still alive immediately after sustaining a gunshot to the torso and two to the upper body.
He later died at Delray Medical Center.
