A new study reveals that Americans have a near universal love for pizza

The study, a National Health and Nutrition Examination survey using data from 2007 to 2010, revealed that one out of every eight Americans ate pizza "on any given day." When focusing on a specific age group—men, ages six to 19—the number increased to one out of every four. Furthermore, when consumed, pizza made up for roughly a third of the daily sodium and calcium intake, as well as over half of the daily lycopene intake.

If you want the full breakdown on why Americans love pizza so much, feel free to click here, but the answer is rather simple: It's delicious.
