Though HBO has confirmed that True Blood will officially be ending this year, it looks like the show might not be completely going away after all. That is, according to series star and producer Stephen Moyer, anyway: In a new interview with Examiner, Moyer hinted that there may be a new project related to the show coming in 2016.
When asked by Examiner what fans are supposed to do without “True Blood” in 2015, he replied, "What are you going to do in the summer of 2015? I’m not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I’m hoping there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016," he teased. "We’ll have an announcement about that… soonish."
Considering that Moyer is a producer on the series as well as a star, he probably knows a thing or two about the future of the show—so it's pretty safe to take this seriously. As for what he means by "something to watch in the summer of 2016," that remains to be seen.
Who else would not be opposed to a Pam and Tara spinoff? Lafayette and Jason can come too.
