Sony Outlines Their Streaming Game Service, PlayStation Now, Launching This Summer.

Sony’s Gaikai-fueled, videogame streaming service, PlayStation Now, is scheduled for a full reveal this summer, Andrew House SCEI president and CEO dropped the news today in Vegas at CES 2014.

The reveal came during Sony’s CES 2014 keynote address where House confirmed that PlayStation Now will be capable of streaming PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation 3 games. The tites will steam through the Internet to your PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. In a surprise move, non-PlayStation/non-Sony devices such as tablets, smart phones, and smart TV will be able to access PlayStation Now. PlayStation owners will be able to rent titles on a game-by-game basis or pay for a subscription plan that allows access to the library of games.

PlayStation Now heads to the PS4 and PS3 for an initiall run this summer. PS Vita and other devices will get access at a later date.
