RoboCop is back and he's got a brand new suit, new partner, a new movie and now a free iOS game and later this month for Android.

Developed by Glu, the makers of so called freemium mobile games, as an official tie-in for the upcoming movie starring Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy with Michael Keaton and Gary Oldman in supporting roles.

"Join the OmniCorp program to become RoboCop, the ultimate law enforcement officer! Battle human crooks, robot enemies and learn how to defend the citizens from the corrupt streets of Detroit."

Check out the third-person blasting which runs RoboCop through some training simulations. Drone strikes, hostage “negotiations,” informant captures and even taking on robotic baddies like the bipedal bulldog ED-209.

RoboCop is free to download for iOS now but expect some in-app purchases when it comes to upgrades.
