The Xbox rumor mill was very busy last night. Some rumors seem just a little too fantastic, like Microsoft's possible abandoning of the console's disc drive for a lower cost version. But it does look like a special edition Titanfall Xbox One is inbound along with majestic – formerly Microsoft employee only – white on white next-gen console.

According to NeoGAF member ntkrnl, the special edition consoles pictured above will launch later this year to match the Titanfall special edition controller revealed earlier this month. What about the all-white Xbox One? it is claimed that it will be launched in October with sources close to the Verge reporting a one terabyte hard-drive edition also slated for later this year.

Take these comments will a grain of salt but it does seem likely that Microsoft would diversify its next-gen console in the same way as it did the Xbox 360, this would simply mean doing so much quicker than the company has in the past.

What do you think? Would you trade in your liquid black box for a Rick Ross inspired all white edition?
