PlayStation Now, Sony's new streaming game service to put classic games on your TV, tablets and more, has set a minimum connection speed at 5Mb per second to ensure a “good experience.”

5Mb/s sets the bar pretty low with the lowest level cable and DSL connections qualifying. Sony also announced on the PlayStation Blog that you're going to want to hold on to your old DualShock 3 controllers because it'll be compatible with Sony's 2014 Bravia televisions available later this year.

PlayStation Now is set to drop in the US this summer on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 with functionality expanding from there. The only other issue is related to the streaming itself with the possibility of "minor concessions in the visual department, such as compression artifacts, consistent with high-quality internet video or gameplay streamed via PS Vita Remote Play"
