Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studios, has some advice for gamers that are still having a hard time tracking down a PlayStation 4: “Be patient.” Talk about not knowing your audience.

Sony's next-gen console is still hard to find even though its competitor, Microsoft's Xbox One, is available from major retailers like Amazon and GameStop, Sony's console remains sold out. Sony is going so far to be completely - maybe a little too - honest about the situation.

There is only one group of customers more fickle and lack a greater patience than gear-head gamers looking to get a next-gen console; investors. How in the world is Sony explaining all the lost sales potential to its shareholders? Would an extended shortage of PS4s make you more prone to grab a Xbox One?
