Do you have an iPhone in your pocket, or is it just me?

Apple is set to up the size of the iPhone this year, according to The Wall Street Journal—and consumers won't only have one new iPhone to look forward to. According the WSJ's sources, a metal iPhone will be released with a 4-and-half-inch screen, and another metal iPhone with a 5-inch screen. If you're wondering why Apple would size-up their phones to two different sizes, not even a year after the iPhone 5S and 5C were introduced, it's easy: pressure from Android. The Google powered phones have been gaining a larger and larger market share, and a main selling point to Android phones are their big and beautiful screens.

"Apple definitely needs a larger-screen smartphone soon, particularly to address the demand in the emerging markets," says Canalys analyst Jessica Kwee. The iPhone measures in at 4-inches now, and is small in comparison to other "phablet" phones that can go up to six or seven inches.
