In October, it was revealed that New York City's beloved Roseland Ballroomwould be closing this year. The following this month, more details were announced: It was being replaced by a huge, 50-plus story tower that would be designed by CetraRuddy.

According to Curbed,  BuzzBuzzHome unearthed renderings for the new tower. Though no address is listed, CetraRuddy's website does say that their 59-story tower will be located in the Theater District. It will include 426 units and be 468,300-square-feet, larger than the 450,000-square-feet that was originally reported.

If this is, in fact, Roseland's replacement, it's another case of "out with the old, in with the new." Nothing lasts forever.
