This could very well be the best college campus ever, and you've probably never heard of the school. Get familiar with High Point University, because the $700 million that's gone into improving the campus over the years is money well spent.
The school's numerous amenities are simply ridiculous, in a good way. Hammocks, swimming pools, hot tubs, an arcade where coins aren't necessary, a sports bar and a free movie theater that offers first-run films and snacks that are on the house. But what else would you expect from High Point, N.C., the world's home furnishings capital.
Behold the treasure of High Point, N.C. It's like South Harmon Institute of Technology come to life, only better.
