Ready or not, Columbia Pictures’ remake of Robocop is coming next month. And now, courtesy of Coming Soon, the studio has released the first TV spot for the film, which shows off some new footage, including a few clips of Robocop (Joel Kinnaman) in action.
This new footage doesn’t really illustrate why this movie exists in the first place, but at least the special effects look impressive. Robocop is no longer a lumbering Frankenstein like the original; instead, he’s quick and sleek, like Iron Man. But does that take away from his charm? Judge for yourself by watching the video above.
