An explosion just happened near the Time-Life Building in New York City this afternoon. Fire can be seen coming from a manhole, along with thick plumes of black smoke.
According to the Epoch Times, the first floor of 140 West 51st Street has been evacuated, and the FDNY is advising people to stay away from windows. The evacuation has left a number of workers both concerned and confused:
