Good news and bad news. Bad news: Happy Endings is not coming back to TV. Good news: The show's creator (and very talented dude) David Caspe has created a new series called Marry Me, and that has just been given a pilot pickup by NBC. Good choice, guys!

According to Deadline, the series is a single-camera comedy that follows "a young couple who get engaged, something they quickly realize is harder than it looks." Considering that Caspe recently got engaged to Happy Endings star Casey Wilson, maybe he has a little bit to say about the subject? Also, the series is described as "in the vein of Mad About You," which is intriguing in and of itself.
