Next month, when Girl Scout Cookie mania begins, the cookie-slingers will unleash a gluten-free flavor: Chocolate Chip Shortbread. The new treat is consists of rice flour, tapioca flour, potato starch, cane syrup and cocoa powder baked into a nice, shortbread cookie accented by chocolate chips.
The only downside is that they will only be available in certain markets. Strangely enough, these markets do not include major cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, D.C., San Francisco and Austin. Life is so unfair sometimes.
