During a drug-fueled episode, Bonita Lynn Vela held her daughter's teenage boyfriend hostage after accusing him of molesting her son.
According to the 18-year-old victim, Vela's friend brought him to her Franklin, Ind. trailer park home, where he was held for three hours while she tried to torture the truth out of him. Apparently, the way to the truth was through his penis, which she mangled with a fork, knife and box cutter.
The teen told investigators that Vela informed him that she wanted to "scar him so that he would have to look at it every time that he had sex in the future." He insisted that he never touched her son, so she said if she had nothing to hide, he should allow him to slice her. She didn't wait for an invitation.
He was still bleeding when police arrived, and he was finally transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital. Vela told authorities that she didn't cut his penis; she claimed he sustained the injuries when she knocked it out of her hands. She was arrested and charged with battery and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.
