Europe Will Get "Better Call Saul" Episodes on Netflix Before the US

The US will have to wait until it's finished airing on AMC, as always.

Good news if you're in Europe and looking forward to AMC's upcoming Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul: If you're a Netflix user, seeing the episodes will be a total breeze. In an earnings call yesterday, Netflix announced that they have exclusive rights to premiere new Better Call Saul episodes to users in Europe, about a month after they initially picked up rights to the series.

Though not much info was given about what the arrangement will be, the gist is that Better Call Saul will premiere on Netflix in Europe, but, in the US where it's going to be airing on AMC, we'll have to wait until the entire first season is finished to see any of the episodes on Netflix. It's not clear if they'll be premiering overseas at the same time they're premiering on AMC (Netflix has previously said that the episodes wouldn't be available to overseas customers until after they'd aired on AMC in the US)—but still, good news.

As previously reported, Better Call Saul—which is a prequel to Breaking Bad and follows walter White's lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk)—will premiere on AMC sometime in November.
