How weird is it to see Aaron Paul all happy in a role for once? After six years of death, destruction and darkness on Breaking Bad, it's sort of strange and jarring to see him smile. But, judging by A Long Way Down's first trailer, that seems to be exactly what this movie is full of—despite being about four strangers who meet when they're all trying to commit suicide by jumping off of the same London building.

The movie is based on the Nick Hornby book of the same name, which was released in 2005. In it, Paul portrays a failed musician who was forced to become a pizza boy to make ends meet, Toni Collette plays the tired mother of a disabled son, Pierce Brosnan portrays a recently divorced, publicly shamed talk show host whose extramarital affair went public, and Imogen Poots portrays a depressed young woman with family problems. On New Year's Eve, the four strangers all attempt to jump off the roof of the Toppers' House in London, but, upon meeting each other, make a pact to keep on living. What results is something that appears to be a super sweet film.

You can check out the trailer above. A Long Way Down doesn't yet have a US release date, but if you're in the UK, it's set to hit theaters on March 21, 2014.
