Don't trust ANYONE.

When the iPad was first announced, a ton of jokes emerged comparing its name to a certain feminine product (i.e., MaxiPad, for instance.) It seems one woman might have taken that last part a little too literally.

After an unnamed woman's friend agreed to let her borrow some tampons and groceries, the woman in question headed to that friend's home, and while the friend went to look for the products, the woman proceeded to steal her friend's iPad by placing it in a grocery bag. The friend later found out her device was missing, and called police. As you could imagine, it was pretty easy to put two and two together. The woman was taken in by police and quickly confessed to the crime. What's the dumbest part of all of this, though? The woman sold the iPad to someone else for $50.

She's been charged with grand theft.
