In a move that should surprise absolutely no one, the real life stockbroker whose life was the basis for Martin Scorsese's newest Leonardo DiCaprio-starring film, The Wolf of Wall Street, now wants his own reality show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan Belfort—who wrote two memoirs, including 2007's The Wolf of Wall Street, about his experiences with fraud and stock market manipulation in the '90s—is now shopping around a reality show to capitalize off of the buzz that Scorsese's film is acquiring in the box office. So, should we be expecting The Wolf of Wall Street: The Reality Show anytime soon? Apparently, after meeting with Belfort, several TV executives have already described Belfort as "TV gold," with a "magnetic, made-for-TV personality." Sure, the whole concept sounds kind of dry, but best to just get used to it now—this show is probably going to happen.
