Perhaps thanks to the threat of a Sriracha shortage, Sriracha vodka is now a real thing. Yesterday, Philips Distilling Company announced the existence of UV Sriracha Vodka, which might literally be the hottest new vodka on the market, depending on who you ask:

The nose has a blend of chili peppers, including the hotter red chili pepper and the more subtle green chili pepper. UV Sriracha has a pepper character that hits you right up front, which is very quickly followed by the hot pepper. The hot stays mainly on the front of the tongue. It is buffered by the green pepper so the spice comes through, without offensive heat.

Phillips director of research Jim Aune adds that Sriracha fans will "love the bold, bright chili, complimented by a sweetness that finishes green." Shots will now have a new, unique burning sensation, and Bloody Mary's just got more interesting, to say the least.
