The Denver Post made headlines earlier this month for filling the highly coveted role of marijuana editor at the daily. Ricardo Baca is the new gatekeeper for all-things pot and, with the sale of weed becoming legal in the state of Colorado on January 1, will probably be a very busy guy.

That said, specialized coverage shouldn't end with marijuana. The world around us is constantly changing and it's possible that the editorial structure as we know it is poised for revolution. Behold the other types of editors we never thought we needed (but absolutely do).
