Tommy Chong made CNN anchor John Berman an offer he couldn't refuse, but wisely did.
Berman, who was standing in for Ashleigh Banfield on Legal View this morning, was in the midst of interviewing Chong about Colorado's new marijuana initiative. Chong caught everyone off guard by beginning the interview with two questions: "Who wants to buy pot there? You guys wanted to score some weed?" Laughter, discomfort and an awkward silence followed.
Chong, who admitted (or joked, but probably admitted) that he's been paying his lawyer in weed, said Colorado's decision to legalize the recreational sale of marijuana was "incredible" before informing everyone that he, like so many others, will usher 2014 in by getting high.
All is right in the world.
