It'll be tough to top Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 (2004), but damn does Marc Webb's version, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, look like a valiant effort. In the first official video of the film, fans are treated to everything from sweet glimpses of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) to the menacing clips of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Parker's frenemy, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan).
The film won't be released until May 2, 2014. For now, let the five months of fanboy speculation and debate begin.
That said, we'll start it off for you: In the background of one of the scenes, there is a shot of the Vulture's wings and Doctor Octopus' tentacles from the comics, which could be hinting at an appearance by the Sinister Six in a later film.
