A 17-year-old Florida boy has admitted to killing his mother of Christmas Eve.
Holley-Navarre Middle School teacher Sharon Aydelott was found inside of her home on Tuesday with multiple stab wounds and a kitchen knife sticking out of her eye socket. According to the Northwest Florida Daily News, she had been beaten with a baseball bat as well.
William Aydelott, 17, was found about three hours later at the home where he had been staying after getting into a heated argument with his mother back in September. The Daily News reports that he still had dried blood on his wrist when he came in for questioning and, aside from a few smiles, remained emotionless while confessing to the crime.
He was charged with premeditated murder.
