At Marvin's Masquerade, guests will be treated to a three-course-meal that runs for $75 per customer, with drink pairings available for an extra $30. At 9 p.m. the fun starts upstairs with an hour-long open bar and DJ Jahsonic will spin favorites and excavate classics into the early hours of 2014.

Rock & Roll Hotel's New Year's Eve bash enters its eighth year of excellence, complete with two floors and a lineup consisting of more than 10 DJs. Just FYI, your money goes toward admission, as well as an open bar. Appetizers will be available buffet-style, and the roof deck will feature a "slient disco." Prepare yourself for over-stimulation.

Nadastrom, Gents & Jawns and Jen Lasher will control U Street Music Hall on New Year's Eve, but you're really going to have to invest some time into this experience, as tickets will be available at the door only. They're only $10, but you'll have to wait for them. The obvious positive here is that the experience (dancing; your rib cage rattling due to the sound system) will be well worth the investment.

The Black Cat, which turned 20 this year, will welcome Peaches O'Dell and Her Orchestra to its main stage to wrap up 2013, while DJs Dredd and Grapp Luva will hold the back stage down. An extremely reasonable $25 grants you access to both floors to enjoy this D.C. New Year's Eve staple.

CupSet and Supreme House joined forces to present the left-field New Year's Eve celebration, House of Cups. Though details on the event are scarce (the location will be revealed after you RSVP), you can expect performances by Thraxxx and rapper LightShow. Less information will lead to more fun when it's all said and done

KABIN Lounge will embrace its winter lodge theme with a five-hour premium open bar. DJ Jonathan Move will be in town from New York City to handle the sounds and KABIN will offer a special New Year's Eve VIP menu. Tables start at $1,000, but $1,500 gets you more beverage options and bottle service courtesy of a human being dressed as Bigfoot.

Dupont Circle's Mari Vanna will host an evening that will begin with traditional Russian cuisine, which you'll have burned off by the time the night is over. Though reservations start at $150 per person, each diner will be gifted with a complimentary 375 ml bottle of champagne to wash it down. The restaurant's in-house accordion player will be on hand to add to the ambiance, and a DJ will take over music duties at midnight. This will be like New Year's Eve at your grandma's house, only with more people and more noise-depending on how hard your grandma goes.

Echostage, D.C.'s newest and largest concert space, will cap its first year off with a performance by DJ Eric Prydz, who will bring every inch of the 30,000-square-foot venue to life for the last dance party of 2013. Be advised that this is an 18-and-over event, so expect a plethora of youthful exuberance (teen spirit, if you will).

Brightest Young Things will embrace the bizarre one final time in 2013 with their Rumspringa celebration, which will be everything Sex Drive was not. DJs such as Sister Lil' E, Chris Burns and Stereofaith will perform; there will be balloons, lasers and more unanticipated fun. There's no dress code, but adhering to the theme (beards, bonnets, etc.) is strongly advised.

Musiq Soulchild's performance will set the stage for ReSOULution, a joint effort by DC to BC and the Howard Theatre. When the clock strikes midnight, the concert will give way to a celebration featuring the talents of four DJs: DJ Sliink, DJ Spicoli, Mista Selecta and Mane Squeeze. You also have the option of purchasing tickets for one of the two events separately, or making it a long night and hitting both. The choice is yours.
