Last week, a New Jerseyman who showed up to the DMV to take his road test ended up being led away in handcuffs on DWI charges.
According to the Smoking Gun, a state instructor at the Motor Vehicle Commission noticed the strong smell of alcohol on 53-year-old Stephen Goss's breath. Police arrived and administered a field sobriety test, which all but confirmed Goss was intoxicated. He also took a Breathalyzer test and blew a .13, which solidified it. He was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving.
He never got to take the road test, either.
