After having one show cancelled on ABC and two on NBC over the past decade, it looks like it's CBS' turn to try and turn Matthew Perry into a leading man in an updated version of The Odd Couple, according to Deadline. In addition to starring as Oscar Madison (the messy one), Perry will also produce and write the multi-camera series. Here is what Perry had to say about the project:

None

Both multi-camera sitcoms and Perry himself are relics of the ‘90s, but maybe this type of old-school sitcom can be embraced by a modern audience as an alternative to what’s currently on the air.
