Know that when accepting a package that contains marijuana, there's a strong possibility that law enforcement could be waiting to pounce on you.
Last Thursday, 25-year-old Latoya Drew was arrested in Franklin Township, N.J. after receiving a package holding 18 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $72,000. According to NJ.com, the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office and Narcotics Task Force got word that the United States Postal Service was delivering the package to Drew's home, so they set up surveillance outside.
Just after drew accepted the package, authorities identified themselves and inspected the package. Drew was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
