In case you forgot, Jennifer Lawrence is a two-time Oscar-nominated actress, with a potential third nomination on the way for her work in American Hustle. Those who've lost sight of that fact can't be blamed, though—Lawrence carries herself like the anti-Academy-Award superstar.
That's a huge compliment. Take her appearance on Conan last night, for instance, the 23-year-old actress' latest stop in her endlessly lovable and hilarious tour of major talk shows. While promoting American Hustle, Lawrence went off on one of her usual, and, yes, wonderful, tangents, this time about butt plugs. Indeed, butt plugs.
Conan O'Brien asked Lawrence if she ever fears that maids will poke through her private belongings when she's checked into hotels. Which led to this: "Somebody as a joke bought me a bunch of butt plugs. It's a long story. A really, really long story. Just trust me that it’s normal—this story. I had a copious amount of butt plugs. Tons of butt plugs. All different fits and colors. A huge amount of different-colored butt plugs. So the maid was coming, so I was like, 'Well, I'll just shove this under the bed so she doesn't see all these butt plugs.' She might not know they’re for a joke."
