It's officially happening: According to CinemaBlend, we can all expect a sequel to 2010's Hot Tub Time Machine at some point next year.

The sequel was first reported on in January of this year, but plot-wise, not much was revealed: All that was confirmed was that John Cusack was not set to return. It's since been revealed that the sequel will focus on Rob Corddry's character Lou, with Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob (Clark Duke) involved as well. Adam Scott will also appear to replace Cusack in some form, possibly as his character's oldest son from the first film.

From the official synopsis:

None

It's not clear when in 2014 the film will hit theaters, but it should be sometime after March 2014—as CinemaBlend reports, March 2014 was considered ahead of schedule for a release date, and it doesn't seem like the studio is planning to rush the film into theaters.
