Commuting just got a whole lot better as developer DotEmu released the first three original arcade versions of Double Dragon for iOS and Android devices.

Double Dragon Trilogy is a compilation of the first three games in the series: Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone. Admittedly the series goes a little weird by the third game but that’s nothing compared to the Battle Toads tie-ins that came later.

Trilogy features two game modes: arcade and story. It also has all the goodies you’d expect: customizable controls, difficulty levels, the original 8-bit soundtrack and a remastered version. There is even a co-op mode for two players via Bluetooth and a gamepad support patch will be out soon for most iOS and Android controllers.

Gamers can pick up Double Dragon Trilogy now from iTunes or Google Play.
