Of all the reasons you will wish you had a Delorean time machine today, this is probably the biggest one: There's still another three months until Warner Bros. releases 300: Rise of an Empire. Not convinced? Check out the new trailer for the film that just dropped today, which features a good look at what to expect from the film—not to mention just how badass Eva Green and Cersei Lannister Lena Headey are going to be in their roles.
Also evident: This film is going to be just as action packed as 2006's 300 was, and for that, we're sold.
As previously reported, the film is based off of Frank Miller's graphic novel, Xerxes, was directed by Smart People director Noam Murro, and written by 300 director Zack Snyder alongside 300 screenwriter Kurt Johnstad.
