It wasn't a gift.

A week ago, U.S. Customs and Border Protection discovered 262 pounds of marijuana worth $157,000 in San Diego after it was dropped from a plane exiting Mexico. According to the Huffington Post, the Office of Air and Marine began tracking the plane once it crossed the border, dropped ten bundles, then returned.

Authorities seized the opportunity to make a bust, waiting for two men to show up and claim the drugs, then arresting them near Brown Field Airport. Someone's Thanksgiving was a little less green this year as a result.
