Valve’s latest update to the classic free-to-play shooter, Team Fortress 2, beings rolling out today and includes new weapon effects, loot and two new maps in Two Cities.

The first new city is the Mann vs. Machine map Mannhattan and a new side map Snakewater. The second city will be announced tomorrow.

The Machine enemies in Mannhattan are able to advance spawn points and bring their own bombs to the map, a more aggressive update to the Mann vs. Machines gameplay currently used.

"The loot you'll get from completing a Tour of Duty will work a bit differently for the Two Cities Tour. Completing a Two Cities Tour automatically grants you a Killstreak Kit, which you can apply to any weapon to transform it into a Killstreak weapon. Completing the Tour also grants you a fabricator and spare parts that you can use to craft progressively rarer Killstreak Kits, which will add cool visual effects to your weapon and eventually even your character."

Valve teases the “preposterously rare” item in the game for those who complete the Two Cities tour: the Australium weapon.

The update begins today, lookout for the new cities and side maps as well as newly added Steam Achievements.
