National Zoo's Tiger Cubs Meet the General Public

A wonderful way to begin the week.

Today was the day to take a long-ass "coffee break" to see the National Zoo'stiger cubs for the very first time. Sumatran cubs Bandar and Sukachita made their public debut at 10 a.m. this morning, but were only on display for about 90 minutes due to their young age. In an email to DCist, a spokesperson for the National Zoo says that the cubs, born in August, "will be on public exhibit each day," but their availability will vary depending on the weather. Today's weather is gorgeous for November, thus making it the perfect day for an official introduction.

Plan that lunch break accordingly for the remainder of the week.
