PSN has been going through something of a seismic shift over the past year or so: the store itself received a massive overhaul, making it easier to navigate and much less clunky. Similarly, PSN users were also semi-recently given the ability to add cash or buy games from the PSN site or mobile app.

Now Sony has introduced Paypal as a funding source for their online network, following the January introduction of the third-party money service to Sony’s online store.

It’s unclear on whether or not customers can use Bill Me Later, PayPal’s own line of credit service (or whether you have the option to credit your PSN account in amounts other than designated increments), though usually any site that gives you a PayPal option has Bill Me Later as well. Hardly earth-shattering news, but more convenience for the once finicky service is definitely not a bad thing.
