This Morning's Nintendo Direct Was Beefy, Watch What The New "Zelda" and "Mario" Reveals

Some of this morning's major Nintendo announcements came in the form of Square Enix's Bravely Default: Flying Fairy dropping and New Zelda and Mario releases.

The Nintendo Direct event has ended, and if you missed it, the entire event can be watched right here. 

Some of this morning's major announcements came in the form of Square Enix's Bravely Default: Flying Fairy dropping February 7, and Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy dropping February 28.

Bravely Default will also be getting a North American exclusive Collector's Edition featuring the game, an art book, 34 AR cards, and the game's soundtrack. The other major announcements came in the form of a new feature for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Using the Street Pass function in A Link Between Worlds, players will be able to create a Dark Link that can be inserted into a friend's 3DS. This will allow for battling bewten friends and a new bounty systems that rewards the winners in these duels. Cool. 

The other big announcement comes in the form of a firmware update that will allow 3DS owners to stream YouTube on their handhelds. Watch the whole thing here.
