Filmmaker Thomas Julien thinks all your Instagram photos look exactly the same, and he confirmed that with a video aptly titled “An Instagram Short Film”. Using nearly identical photos from 852 different accounts, Julien constructs a story that begins with a pair of shoes and travels to Paris’ Arc de Triomphe, the London tube, and the Statue of Liberty in New York, among other places. “Instagram is an incredible resource for all kinds of images," he said. "I wanted to create structure out of this chaos."
