Hyper Light Drifter, the gorgeous little game that quickly became a Kickstarter success, has unveiled a first look at the game's combat system. Thanks to lead developer Alex Preston, the neon combat slices across one of the most uniquely crafted game worlds we’ve seen.

The video shows off both armed and melee combat as the Drifter faces several different enemy types. Gliding along on a fine line of tech sci-fi scenery and cutie bad guys the sword combat and dashing looks great.

Hyper Light Drifter set an initial Kickstarter goal of $27,000 but quickly blew past that within a week to about $250,000 and has been climbing ever since. So far it has been confirmed for released on PlayStation 4, PSVita, Wii U, PC and more to come. Check out Hyper Light Drifter on Kickstarter for more info.
